It is important to find resources on both sides, if we are ever to have real discussions of the issues.As near as I can tell, the author correctly quotes opposing views, and the truth is, I doubt any of those quotes are contested by their speakers and wr. Smith is an attorney and author of several books, a fact which explains the lucid writing style, absence of rancor, and superb attention to detail and documentation. A previous review explained Smith's reasoning for rejecting the ideology of animal rights so I will focus on other issues.The book is divided into three sections. The first addresses the ideology and non-violent aspects of animal rights (AR) activism.
