Furthermore, "the world to come" has not been made subject to angels but to Jesus and to man united with Him. It this book, I challenge the humanistic assumptions concerning psychological disorders. The 'lower than angels' stage was temporary and short-lived as God intended. This is why, when we look at the life of Jesus, we see the truly mature man overcoming every obstacle given. And not only is He our model, we see Jesus crowned with glory and honor. Man is the one to be glorified and, at the end, God being victorious, the righteous is indeed able to ascend to join God in glory through Jesus. "Know ye not that we shall judge angels?". And now that He has ascended as King and given His Spirit, the outcome is settled. He accomplished this through the cross that Jesus died on.
