DESCRIPTION:
A sound sample of efficient group therapy A Customer A member of a therapy group recounts in her own words her personal quest for freedom from the traumas of sexual abuse. A group of eight women together makes a treacherous journey up through the depths of pain, despair, anger and fear toward newfound self-awareness and inner strength. The book describes a process that requires abuse victims to accept that they have been forever changed as a result of the abuse they endured. Group members are taught to constructively deal with the guilt, the anger, the rage, the fear and the despair stemming from their early experiences, and the majority makes remarkably good progress . Not Your Typical Bandaid! J. Lone Very good read. Very helpful. Instead of continually having a dressing put over your 'wounds' as the mainstream mental health establishment does, this doctor and method deals and addresses the disease that is below the dressing. You heal from the inside out the way you should!. good but went a little old Dong Good book, help me with my final paper. but the only problem is that it's a little old. Anyway you can still use it as a reference.
