A must-read--before it's made into a movie Nearly ninety years after its first publication, _The Beautiful and Damned_ is still a shockingly relevant account of the entitlement class, the children of the rich or privileged who don't know how to navigate through life without big money. And, it's a New York City novel--written as only a mid-westerner can. It seems to me that because New Yorkers are too much in the middle of it to see themselves clearly, an intelligent "outsider" like F. Scott Fitzgerald must come along. To write as well as he did, Fitzgerald let . "All she wants to hear is the love you have for her." I am a big fan of R.M Drake, i follow his IG and his quotes are so good. From there is where i discovered him and had to get his book. They hit the heart and give me them feels. I can relate to a lot of the things he writes and when i read them it reminds me of the times. I read a little each night before bed, helps get my mind to wander to a good part of soul. I highly recommend anyone looking for a good read that doesn't need a lot of time to be dedicated to enjoy. Read a few pages sleep is how i do it and so should . LOW QUALITY BOOK COVERD Amazon Customer Came in good condition except I wasn't really impressed with the book cover. It was in this glossy material and the picture as shown above was in a really bad quality! The pixels were horrible if you're picky with book covers. Other than that, can't wait to read it!
