"Werewolves, Vampires, etc. all live civilly in this series!" according to Sylviastel. The author and illustrator do a fine and adequate job in writing and illustrating about werewolf child, Karl, who failed to make the cut for the werewolf baseball team in his world. Sure the plot is absurd but it's an easy and enjoyable read where young readers who are into werewolves, vampires, Frankenstein, two headed coaches, and other creepy monsters will gobble it up for sheer entertainment. This book series is aimed at young readers where the plot is quite interesting and far-fetched. Young readers will identify with Karl, the sympathetic werewolf, who failed to make his team. So the misfits in their world c. Elaine Moore said Fantastic Tale. My eight year old plays every sport but baseball, but that didn't deter him from this story. He devoured it, laughing the whole time. The illustrations are as funny and entertaining as the story itself. The book is well written and kept my son engaged and turning pages. All the books in the series are Accelerated Reader books, which is such a bonus. Great series. I highly recommend it.. Misty Weaver said Great. My son loved these books. Would recommend!
