Great recipes! The Bee Well Cookbook is just chock full of delicious recipes, written for those with food sensitivities in mind but certainly not limited to them. I was lucky enough to take a class offered by the author and it allowed me the opportunity to try many of her recipes and every one was delicious. I have since made more of them for my family and friends and have received compliments all the way around. There are also numerous tips on basics, such as soup stocks , and helpful tips such as how to make substitutions. I do not have food sensitivities or allergies ( yet) but will continue to use and enjoy this cookbook.. Very good recipes, excellent resource I picked this up a couple of years ago at our local food co-op and it's ended up being a gem -- in fact, the only cookbook I ever refer to. I recently recommended it to a friend who is dealing with digestive issues, and after sending her the link decided to post a review.Even had there been nothing else of value, author's concise, readable explanations of how and why to soak beans, grains, nuts and seeds were worth the price of the book for me. I learned my love of cooking from my father, who is a gourmet cook, and experimenting with alternative foods has always come naturally to me. It was necessary for me to find foods and methods of cooking that I could tolerate with my extremely sensitive constitution and digestive system. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Arts in Holistic Wellness at Clayton College of Natural Health and I am a Holistic Wellness Consultant for individuals with a variety of health problems and concerns.
