BLEW ME AWAY! CharlotteSP I picked this book up when I was in the mood to read a sweeping romance, and this perfectly fit the bill. The writing was sophisticated and balanced, and it drew me in whether or not I wanted to be! These two intelligent and complex characters seeped into my thoughts and into my heart. I couldn't wait to pick up the book again and get lost in their romance. The love story between Nick and Shyla was beautiful and nostalgic, healing and intoxicating, steamy and innocent. I was swept away and didn't wa. Handsome Boy and Beautiful Girl Cabellero I had pretty much worked out the plot before I finished the story but that didn't spoil the enjoyment. It is a romantic love story set in New York. The two protagonists are a male novel writer and a female East Indian student. The story is a story within a story but is well written with the main story broken up by chapters of the second story. It is compelling reading which was hard to put down. There are sexual scenes and some swearing which were in context and didn't spoil the story for me. Highl. Sandretta said you can give this book a try but don't be disappointed because of this forewarning. I took a chance on reading this book because it is not my usual genre. It was okay, no major complaints. As I got close to the end, I figured it would end in either two scenarios which I had in mind; and I was correct. There was a little unexpected twist I did not anticipate and found that concept interesting. I do feel that they rushed the end. If you have the patience and need a different genre, you can give this book a try but don't be disappointed because of this forewarning.

This smoothly written cross-cultural romance, which initially appears uncomplicated, evolves into an in-depth study of strong emotions and underlying motivations. A truly unanticipated turn of events sends the riveting conclusion into overdrive, leaving readers breathless. Schiller has a fine talent for describing cultural conflicts, and the characters are multifaceted and endearing. - Publisher's Weekly
