As it sates in the title, it is a clinical and biblical perspective of mental illness. Stanford goes into the various mental disorders and explains their symptoms and etiology. He then relates biblical examples of these disorders and how God uses them for His glory (. "Mental illness as it should be" according to Ben Palm. Radically changes how mental health should be viewed in the church. It puts mental health where it should be - another illness, just like diabetes or cancer - and not something that should simply be prayed away.If you or someone you love is struggling with mental illness, this is a must read!.
