New furniture comes into the room

A great children's story about relilience I just read the very engrossing book, The Hanger Drawer. The illustrations were well executed and a delight for children. It told a very interesting tale that covered a topic that is not usually addressed in children's books. It was sort of like the biblical story of Job but with a kinder outcome. The book also illustrates a most important part of child development which is resilience. It shows a child that he or she can handle change and even benefit from change. It is truly amazing to find such good children's literature for use with my Kindle. I heartily recommend this selection.. Brian Loube said Change can be good!. What a cute children's book - somehow reminds me of the classic the "The Little House." It's a warm story that won't upset a child of any age, with a helpful theme for kids who are sensitive to changeand lovely, happy art. We liked it!. Beautiful simple stories Gavin White My little girls love this book, and they are beautifully illustrated as well. We read them on our ipad before bed - they are calming & gently relaxing to drift off to sleep with.
