"excellent reference for even the experienced teacher" according to carla sedacca. This was a mandatory text for a graduate class. I know I will be using it quite a bit. Basics are explained and the reference material in the back is invaluable. A great book by one of the leaders in literacy education!. This book will be very helpful for the classroom. The book was in very good condition and the book is very interesting. I look forward to reading the rest of the book.
